Yes they are! The reason we started making earrings was because one of my daughters had terrible trouble with infections from earrings that were not stainless steel. So we started making our own earrings with stainless steel posts. All of the earrings we sell are made with stainless steel posts.

Nylon headbands - fit from newborn babies through to most adults

Hard headbands - fit from about 3yrs of age through to most adults

Elastic/Lace Headbands - we make these in three sizes: Newborn to 6 months, 6 to 12 months, or 12 months to 3 years. Larger sizes can be made upon request.

Whilst we occasionally have had a headband or hair clip accidentally go through the wash (and come out unscathed!), we don't recommend putting any of our products in the washing machine. Many of our products have delicate embellishments on them that could be damaged in the washing machine. Spot clean only!

Many of our products are designed to be worn by babies. That said, many of our products either are small, or contain small parts and could be a choking hazard. Headbands could also be a strangulation hazard. Adult supervision is required when babies and young children are wearing our products. Please remove headbands when babies go to sleep or travel in vehicles.

In some styles, yes.

For some styles we can only source the materials to make certain colours. But if we can make an item in custom colours it will be stated in the product description. In this case, select 'Other' and enter your colours in the box at checkout. It would also be helpful if you could send a photo of the school uniform to info@alicejeandesigns.com.au so we can match the colours as closely as possible.

Hair accessories should be spot cleaned only.

Avoid excessive bending of hard headbands. Whilst they are very bendy and stretchy, and generally hold up to children exploring, they will snap if excessive force is applied!

Earrings can be gently cleaned with a soft damp cloth. Avoid harsh or abrasive chemicals. Store earrings and hair accessories in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Remove earrings and hair accessories before swimming or showering.
